Who gets hurt from wireless Net Neutrality exemption?

the exemption is extra worrisome when it comes to communities where smartphones are how people access the Internet, which in the United States includes communities of color and poorer communities. For many people, the Internet is wireless and mobile, and a neutrality exemption that allows Internet providers to discriminate on what sort of content and services they see potentially hits them extra hard.

Nancy Scola puts names one of the biggest problems with the FCC’s proposed “Net Neutrality” rules. The future of the Internet is wireless, and that’s how many communities experience it now.

Leaving this future open to discrimination creates a future in which innovation and online freedom are secondary to the business interests of a few giant corporations. We need to push back.
