“Start looking at cell phones as political devices”

The UpTake’s Sam Mayfield caught up with my colleague Tim Karr at the National Conference for Media Reform earlier this week, to talk about the political nature of our cell phones. Tim gives a good synopsis of why we need to move beyond thinking of our cell phones as consumer products, toward the empowering role mobile devices play in our democracy — and democratic movements around the world.
