Colorlines’ Jamila King breaks down Verizon’s ironically-named “Rule the Air” ad campaign, specifically the bit titled “Prejudice” (ooh, edgy).

The gist: If Verizon really wanted to talk prejudice, it would talk about its high fees, its refusal to build access to places that are “overwhelmingly black, brown, rural and poor,” and it would stop trying to kill Net Neutrality.

Something tells me that wouldn’t make a very compelling TV spot.
