Tweetdeck founder Ian Dodsworth just tweeted at Steve Jobs — who used Tweetdeck as an example of how difficult it supposedly is to develop for Android — the following:
“Did we at any point say it was a nightmare developing on Android? Errr nope, no we didn’t. It wasn’t.”
Yet, check out Dodsworth’s post about the number of Android phones and OS versions out there. It’s stunning.
Some might find this sheer vastness of the Android landscape (read: fragmentation) depressing, but I find it wonderful and full of possibility. This is what happens when users have more control over their platform.
